Important Information

PE

PE will take place every Tuesday and Wednesday in Year 2. We use two main curriculums 'Beyond the Physical' and 'iMoves'. Children will be taught not only by their class teacher but also by trained Sports Coaches throughout the school year.

 Reading books

Children will bring home new two new reading books every Friday.

One will be one of the class '50 Must Reads'. These are books specifically chosen for children to read. Children will have their own Reading Passports and certificates will be awarded for reading 10, 25 and 50 reading books.

The second book will be their Little Wandle Reading Practice Book that they will have already read at least twice in school.

Homework

Phonics and Maths homework will be posted on Class Dojo every Friday. Homework is designed to consolidate the learning the children have been taught in class throughout the week.
