Miss Angela Inns - Ex Officio - Principal

I have worked in education across Kirklees for over 25 years and have been proud to be part of South Pennine Academies since 2018. For the past four years, I have had the privilege of leading Brambles, becoming Principal in September 2025.

During my time at Brambles, I have seen the school go from strength to strength. I am particularly proud of our achievements in securing Gold standards in Mental Health and the School Games, receiving two awards through the Asda Heroes programme, and achieving outcomes above national averages.

I am passionate about creating a school where every child has the opportunity to succeed, belong and thrive. It has been a real privilege to work alongside our children and families and to be part of the Brambles community.

I am committed to ensuring that every child leaves Brambles believing in themselves, proud of who they are and excited about what they can achieve. I am incredibly proud of our children, staff and wider community and look forward to continuing to build on all that makes Brambles such a special place.

Amy Eagleton - Chair

I studied Criminology at University and went on to work in a secondary school as part of the behaviour team. Eight years later and I am still at that same school but now in the Safeguarding Team. It's my job to make sure all our students are happy, healthy and safe. I wanted to be a member of the Local Academy Board for Brambles at this exciting time to learn more about the profession I am in but for a different age group than I am used to and to also give back to South Pennine Academies Trust who have supported me throughout my career. I'm committed to being a part of the ‘Brambles family’ and am looking forward to watching us grow!

Kav Sangha - Vice Chair

Born, bred and educated in Huddersfield, I am a Senior HR Business Partner and Personal Brand Coach.

I studied BA Hons Human Resources Management at the University of Huddersfield and am also a Chartered Member of the CIPD.

I have two children at Brambles Primary Academy who both love coming to school everyday.

I am delighted to have a role on the Academy Board as I am passionate about giving something back to the community and most importantly in supporting the staff in making Brambles a place where all children succeed, belong and thrive.

Morgan Quirke

My child has attended Brambles Primary Academy since its opening in September 2018. After leaving school I have volunteered and worked in various parts of the child and youth sector. I then became a young ambassador for the Princes Trust, focusing on the anti-bullying programme. I also trained as a teaching assistant and have worked as a teaching assistant in various areas of Kirklees. I also help to care for my dad who is disabled. I am passionate about learning through play and making learning an enjoyable and engaging experience.

I have worked in a variety of primary schools in Huddersfield for the past 12 years. I joined Brambles in February 2021 at the old building and have seen the transition to the new school which has been a fantastic experience. I have recently taken a new role as Learning Mentor and I am also part of the safeguarding team.
