Welcome

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Brambles Primary Academy.

Brambles is a school where children are known, valued and encouraged to be the very best they can be. We are incredibly proud of our diverse and vibrant community, where children and families from many different cultures, backgrounds, faiths and languages come together as one school family. This diversity is one of the things that makes Brambles such a special place to learn and work.

At the heart of Brambles are our children. We want every child to come to school each day feeling happy, safe and valued, with a genuine enthusiasm for learning. We provide a rich and ambitious curriculum that enables children to develop strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, while also giving them opportunities to discover new interests, develop their talents and understand the world around them.

We are proud of the strong outcomes our children achieve. However, success at Brambles is about much more than results. It is about developing confident, curious and resilient young people who are ready to embrace their next steps and make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Our school is a place where we believe that relationships matter. We work closely with children, families and our wider community to create an environment in which everyone feels that they are part of something. We celebrate what makes each individual unique while building a strong sense of belonging and shared purpose.

We are fortunate to have a modern, purpose-built school with excellent facilities, but it is the people who make Brambles what it is. Our dedicated staff are committed to providing the very best experiences for our children, and we are incredibly proud of the care, ambition and commitment they bring to school every day.

Whether you are already part of the Brambles community, considering joining us, or simply wanting to find out more about our school, I hope our website gives you a sense of the warmth, ambition and opportunities that make Brambles such a wonderful place to be.

At Brambles, we want every child to leave us believing in themselves, proud of who they are and excited about what they can achieve.

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and discovering all that Brambles Primary Academy has to offer.

In Art this term, the children in Year 3 have been creating some cave inspired drawings using charcoal and oil pastels. They looked closely at woodland animals and used a similar palette of colours to that used in the Stone Age.
They have now begun to enlarge and upscale their drawings. We can’t wait to see their finished pieces! 🎨🖌️🤩 1 Likes

Photos from Brambles Primary Academy's post What a brilliant day we had in Year 1 for European Languages Day! We travelled to Italy through our learning, creating beautiful Venetian masks and pizzas. The children loved discovering a little bit about Italian culture and showed great creativity throughout the day. 🎭 🍕 1 Likes

Photos from Brambles Primary Academy's post Today, in 5 Chestnut, we did a Science experiment. We looked at evaporating and filtering. We have put salt water, sugar water, squash and coffee in the sun to see if the water evaporates and the substance remains. We also filtered the same liquids to see which substance was left on the filter paper. In our experiment, it was only salt water. Stay tuned to see which liquids evaporate!
